As part of the research and studies project on improved seeds, irrigation systems, fertilization, and soils, Assistance for Response and Development (ARD‑Y) signed an agreement to conduct agricultural soil testing with the Agricultural Research and Extension Authority at its headquarters in Abyan, represented by the Al‑Kod Research Station Laboratory.
The agreement covers the analysis of 960 individual samples (320 composite samples) to develop a digital soil fertility map for Taiz and Lahj governorates, contributing to more precise fertilization and irrigation practices and improved agricultural productivity.
This initiative is implemented under the Climate-Smart Agriculture Project in Lahj and Taiz, supporting sustainable resource management and improving farmers livelihoods through data-driven, science-based decisions. @متابعين
