Bridging the Gap in Basic Needs for IDPs

In light of the ongoing humanitarian crisis, the lack of essential non-food items – such as

kitchen supplies,

lighting,

bedding, and

blankets – places an additional burden on the most vulnerable displaced families.

In response, and with generous funding from the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), and in partnership with UN-Habitat, Assistance for Response and Development (ARD-Y) implemented a humanitarian intervention that included:

Distribution of 126 Non-Food Item (NFI) kits

To the most vulnerable displaced families in Al-Matar Al-Qadeem (Old Airport Area) – Taiz, one of the areas with the highest needs.

This intervention aims to:
Alleviate the suffering of displaced families
Improve daily living conditions
Uphold the dignity of vulnerable households

We remain committed to reaching the most vulnerable groups in high-need areas, in collaboration with our local and international partners.
