As part of a series of multi-sectoral activities—particularly in the area of psychosocial protection 🛡️—a specialized training course on psychosocial support for juveniles under 18 at the Social Care Home concluded today. The training aimed to improve mental well-being and support the reintegration of children following the end of their sentences.

🎁 At the end of the session, participants received age-appropriate recreational toys, based on the submited report by the assigned psychologist 👨‍⚕️.

This initiative is part of the Community Cohesion and Reintegration Project, implemented by Assistance for Response and Development (ARD-Y) and funded by Saferworld 🌍. The project targets juvenile centers at both the Central Correctional Facility and the Social Care Home in Taiz, focusing on protection, education, health, shelter, water, and rehabilitation.

👏 The training featured interactive activities that were well-received by the juveniles and praised by the home’s administration, represented by Mr. Amin Al-Haidari, who commended the organization’s commitment to supporting this vulnerable group.
