Home gardens in rural and urban areas are a gateway to improving nutrition for the most vulnerable households in communities. In this regard, the first coordination meeting was held with the agricultural Office Managers, of the targeted districts (Alwaziah, Al-Mesrakh, AlQaherah, Sabr Al-Mawadem) and also with the specialized engineers to launch the project to support families with home garden seeds and tools.
This project targets 800 HHs. The meeting was also attended by the General Manager of the governorate agricultural office and ARD-Y Team.
The project funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and implemented in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
