Beneficiaries of Maqbanah Rainwater Harvesting Tanks Project for Drinking Water continue to work diligently to complete 25 rainwater harvesting tanks with a storage capacity of 675,000 liters. Today, Assistance for Response and Development (ARD) delivered the second installment to beneficiaries. Each beneficiary received $1,080 to complete the construction of the rainwater harvesting tanks and implement reinforced concrete slabs. This batch of cash comes after the completion of excavation and construction work which was implemented by beneficiaries using the first installment of $360 for each beneficiary.
Beneficiaries express their overwhelming happiness as they work tirelessly to obtain safe, potable water. After years of suffering from water scarcity and contamination, the dream of clean water is now within reach.
