Drip irrigation networks benefiting 32 farmers under the ERRY III project in the districts of Al-Ma’afer (Taiz), Tuban, Al-Maqatra, Al-Mudaribah, and Ras Al-Ara (Lahj) represented a qualitative transformation in agriculture. The networks contributed to reducing water consumption, improving productivity, and diversifying crops such as tomatoes, various vegetables, and watermelon according to the seasons.
A notable success was the harvest of watermelon from one of the beneficiary’s farms, reflecting the positive impact on improving income and livelihoods.
These interventions contribute to enhancing food security, agricultural sustainability, and addressing environmental challenges.
