๐ฑ Assistance Foundation for Response and Development (ARD-Y) carried out a joint field visit to the livestock quarantine facility designated for the Emergency Livelihoods Support Project in Taiz. The visit was attended by the Director General of the Agriculture and Irrigation Office in Taiz Governorate, the project coordinator from the organization, and a representative from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
The visit aimed to ensure the proper implementation of veterinary quarantine protocols and to verify the health and safety of livestock planned for distribution across the districts of Al-Maโafer, Maqbanah, and Jabal Habashi.
This initiative is part of a multi-component project (agricultural, livestock, and cash assistance delivered in three phases), funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) and implemented in partnership with FAO. The project seeks to enhance livelihoods and improve food security for beneficiary households.
