Integrated Intervention to Improve Shelter and WASH

🛠️💧 Through the Cash for Work modality at IDP sites, 140 displaced households completed the rehabilitation of their shelters in:

📍 Al-Hajb Camp – Maqbanah
📍 Al-Habeel Camp – Al-Shamayatayn
📍 Mushrifah Camp – Jabal Habashi
Each beneficiary received USD 220 as conditional support for shelter rehabilitation.
Using the same modality, in Wahr Village, each beneficiary received USD 200 for latrine rehabilitation, benefiting 100 households.
In addition, family latrines were constructed for 74 beneficiaries through a contractor in villages in Al-Sunnah area – Al-Ma’afer, and Wahr – Jabal Habashi.
These activities were accompanied by community awareness sessions and the distribution of hygiene kits. Implementation has also begun for the rehabilitation and operation of two solar-powered water abstraction points in Wahr and Al-Sunnah.
This intervention comes as an integrated package to improve shelter, water, and sanitation in the targeted area.
