🌾✨ the Assistance for Response and Development (ARD-Y) has implemented a series of activities under the project
“Enhancing Self-Reliance and Resilience of the Most Vulnerable Households,”
covering both Field Crops 🌾 and Home Gardens 🌿 components.
As part of this initiative, the organization launched today the distribution of field crop seeds of maize 🌽
and vegetable seeds including tomatoes 🍅, zucchini 🥒, okra 🌱, hot pepper 🌶️, and radish 🥬,
in preparation for the start of the new agricultural season.
🌱 Earlier, the beneficiaries received both theoretical and practical training on
Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA),
aiming to strengthen their production capacity and ensure sustainability of their agricultural activities.
🤝 The project is funded by DANIDA and implemented in partnership with the Danish Refugee Council (DRC),
as part of the joint efforts to support livelihoods and improve food security in rural communities across Yemen.
