🌿✨ Today, Assistance for Response and Development (ARD-Y) 🌱 launched the distribution of home garden inputs and the implementation of agricultural and nutritional training for 1,650 male and female farmers in the districts of Saber Al-Mawadem, Mashra’a & Hadnan, and Mawza in Taiz Governorate.
The project aims to improve food security and nutrition for families whose children are most at risk of malnutrition 👩‍🌾👨‍🌾, by enabling them to produce healthy and balanced food within their own homes 🍅🥬🥕.
The project is funded by the World Bank 💰 and implemented in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) 🌍, in coordination with local authorities, the Agriculture Office in the governorate and targeted districts, and agricultural extension services, as part of joint efforts to promote sustainable livelihoods and improve nutrition for rural families.
