With the arrival of winter’s cold… ARD-Y supports the most vulnerable families 

❄️ As temperatures drop and the suffering of displaced families and host communities increases in the districts of Al-Shamayatayn, Jabal Habashi, and Maqbana, Assistance for Response and Development (ARD-Y), in partnership with the Al-Moayel Program and with funding from the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), has completed the distribution of integrated shelter kits to the most vulnerable households.

📌 Total number of distributed kits:
633 shelter kits
🧺 Contents of each shelter kit:
🔥 Essential bedding and warmth items: • 🛏️ 7 mattresses • ❄️ 7 single blankets • 🧺 2 floor mats
🍲 Basic kitchen supplies: • 🍳 Cooking pot • 🔥 Pressure cooker • 🍵 Tea kettle • 🍽️ Cooking accessories
🏠 Household items: • 🟦 Gas stove • 🍞 Dough pan • 🪣 2 plastic buckets
💡 Lighting system: • ☀️ Solar-powered lighting system
This intervention comes as part of an integrated response that includes Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) activities, aiming to strengthen families’ ability to cope with harsh winter conditions and ensure access to their essential needs with dignity.
