The Director General of Al-Ma‘afer District and Head of the Local Council, Mr. Al-Sanawi, met with a delegation from Assistance for Response and Development (ARD-Y) to discuss planned interventions in the WASH sector under the integrated life-saving assistance project for IDPs and flood-affected host communities.
The meeting resulted in an agreement to implement two key projects:

Installing a solar-powered pumping system for a well in the Al-Jabziyah water project.

Installing a solar pumping system for the Al-Sannah water project to deliver water to the storage tank in Al-Rahiywah village.
The Director General affirmed the local authority’s readiness to provide all necessary support, praising ARD’s role in assisting vulnerable groups. ARD-Y’s delegation expressed their gratitude to the local authority for its cooperation and facilitation in serving the community.
