As part of the Empowerment Project for Graduates of Al-Khayami Agricultural Institute in Al-Ma’afer District, Assistance for Response and Development (ARD-Y) has completed the installation of greenhouses for newly graduated agricultural specialists, as part of efforts to empower them in practicing climate-smart, protected agriculture.
Each graduate will serve as an agricultural advisor in their community, benefiting from both the theoretical and practical training they received, alongside being provided with a productive greenhouse.
The agricultural institute itself was also equipped with a training and production greenhouse, to serve as a learning tool for students and a source of income to support the institute.
This project was implemented with funding from the Oxfam Innovation Fund.
