Under the patronage of the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries, Major General Salem Al-Saqtri, the Governor of Taiz Nabil Shamsan, and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the local authorities in Taiz Governorate today launched the Emergency Agriculture and Livestock Response Project to support the most vulnerable populations.
The project will be implemented by FAO in Al-Ma’afer, Jabal Habashi, and Maqbana districts of Taiz through its implementing partner, Assistance for Response and Development (ARD-Y), in coordination and under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries – the Executive Unit for Externally Funded Projects – with funding from YHF
