Community Participation Contributes to the Success of Project Goals

As part of the Home Gardens Project linked to nutrition and food security improvement, the 💠 Assistance for Response and Development (ARD) team has formed community committees in the targeted districts (Mawza’, Mashra’ah and Hadnan, and Saber Al-Mawadem), in coordination with local authorities and community leaders in areas with a high concentration of families affected by malnutrition.
✨ This project is implemented in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and funded by the World Bank. It aims to support the most vulnerable groups through home-based agricultural interventions that enhance nutrition and reduce food insecurity.
💚 Community engagement through these committees represents the cornerstone of the project cycle, and is a key factor in ensuring evidence-based and standards-compliant targeting.
