๐ฐ Al-Mashawla Water Project Eases Fuel Crisis Impact through Solar Energy โ๏ธ
In light of rising fuel pricesโฝ, many families who rely on piped water networks are increasingly struggling to access clean water ๐ง. This crisis has significantly affected both displaced families ๐๏ธ and host communities ๐ค.
To address these challenges, a vital intervention is underway through Al-Mashawla Water Project, which supplies water to 41 communities ๐๏ธ, benefiting a total of 2,600 people ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ. The project aims to power the well using solar energy โ๏ธ, promoting sustainable water access while reducing dependence on traditional fuels. The project includes:
-
๐ Installation of 105 solar panels, each with a capacity of 660 watts, totaling 69,300 watts.
-
โ๏ธ Operation of two solar-powered electric pumps, each with a capacity of 45 kilowatts.
-
๐ ๏ธ Rehabilitation of the well through the replacement of pipes and all related components.
-
๐งฑ Renovation of the water reservoir, both internally and externally, with a storage capacity of 319 cubic meters.
