Within the Project of Resilient Livelihoods and Climate Adaptation, which funded by the European Union and the Swedish government in partnership with FAO through its implementing partner ARD-Y, a series of coordination meetings was held by ARD-Y to inaugurate the project.

The coordination meetings included several relevant entities, represented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Production Sector, the Governor of Lahj, the Director General of Agriculture in Lahj Governorate, the Directors General of the targeted districts of Tuban, Al-Mudharaba, Ras Al-Ara, and Al-Maqatra, and the Directors of Agriculture in the targeted districts.
