Al-Dush well is a key water source for many families in Dhu-bab district. Protecting such water sources in rural areas contributes to a facilitated access to safe drinking water and alleviates the burden on women and children who have to fetch water from distant areas.
ARD-Y completed the activity of rehabilitating Al-Dush Water Source and handed over the project site to the relevant stakeholders in the presence of the Director General of the District and the Head of the Community Committee.
The rehabilitation includes providing the well with protection strategies and solar system to operate the bump. In addition, water points were installed in the village and the nearby school.
