🌱💡 Supporting Rural Resilience by Solar Energy! 🚜☀️
In the Rural Resilience Project 3, five agricultural wells were powered by solar energy (2 in Al-Ma’afer district, Taiz Gov., and 3 in Tuban district, Lahj Gov.), managed by Water User Associations (WUAs) that were established, trained, and had their capacity built within the project.
💪 What have we achieved?
✅ Reducing irrigation costs by using solar energy instead of diesel.
✅ Water conservation through WUAs.
✅ Enabling 100 farmers to improve their agricultural production.
✅ Introducing modern irrigation technologies, such as drip irrigation, to the targeted areas.
